Orange Hemp Seed Sauce

This is a three citrus sauce: orange, lemon and fig.
½ cup hemp seed
Juice from one orange and on lemon
2-3 chopped dry figs
½ tablespoon any soy free organic miso
½ teaspoon ground chia seed
good  pinch of anise seed

Put hemp seeds in a mini chopper or processor and run till it is very crumbly.
Add the rest of the ingredients and run again till almost smooth.

You can serve this as soon as it is made but it is much better if it sits for at least 15- 20 minutes first.

I often make this with fava bean flour instead of garbanzo bean flour.
I dont find it works very well with other bean flours though.

Coconut Gelato

the meat from 2 young coconuts
raw honey to the sweetness that suits you ( I use a local mint honey that is delish)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (pure)
2-3 figs
Put this all in your blender. It will take some time, it takes me about 15 minutes on an average blender that will reverse.

Once it is fully blended and smooth add
1 tablespoon ground chia seed
and make sure it is well mixed in, blending it a few more minutes.

Put in container and place in freezer. It freezes to the consistencey of gelato in 4-6 hours. Depending on your freezer and how much is in it already.
